Silver Winds

Licence terms

Last updated 11 October 2026

These terms cover Golden Kite and any other software sold by Silver Winds ("we", "us"). Silver Winds is a trading name of Purple Ohm Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 11643197. Registered office: 82A James Carter Road, Mildenhall, IP28 7DE, United Kingdom. By installing or using the software you agree to them. Nothing here takes away your rights under UK consumer law.

Who sells it

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's own buyer terms apply to the purchase itself.

What you get

  • A licence for one person to use the software, on any computers they own or use themselves.
  • Every version released in the 12 months after your purchase.
  • The right to keep using those versions forever, including after your 12 months end.

Your licence key carries your name and email address, and the software shows them. A renewal adds another 12 months of updates and comes with a new key.

Free demo

Without a key the software runs as a free demo with limits on projects and AI use, and adds a small "Made with Golden Kite (demo)" footer to downloaded pages. The demo is covered by these terms too.

What you make is yours

You own the stories, pictures and pages you make with the software, and you may use them commercially, including selling them, at every price and after your updates end. We claim no rights in your work.

The AI services you connect (for example OpenRouter, and the model makers behind it) have their own terms for the content they produce and for what you may ask them to make. Those terms apply to you directly. Check them before you sell work that uses AI output.

Your AI accounts

The software uses AI services through accounts and keys you set up yourself. You are responsible for those accounts, their costs and following their rules. AI requests go from your computer to the service you chose; we don't see your keys, prompts or pictures, and we don't add to the providers' prices.

What you may not do

  • Share, sell or publish your licence key, or let other people use it.
  • Resell, rent or redistribute the software.
  • Remove or get around the licence check or the demo limits.
  • Decompile or reverse engineer the software, except where the law allows it.
  • Use the software to make anything illegal, including content that exploits or abuses children, or that harasses or defames a real person.

If you break these terms we may revoke your key. A revoked key stops working in later versions of the software.

Refunds

See the refund policy. A refunded key is revoked.

Warranty and liability

We build the software with care and fix problems we find, but we can't promise it will be free of faults or that every AI service will keep working with it. AI services can change or stop without notice, and their output can be wrong or unexpected.

Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid for your licence in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for losses we could not reasonably foresee, for lost data you could have backed up, or for charges from your AI providers. None of this limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.

Changes

We may update these terms. Changes don't apply to versions you already have unless you agree to them.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you also keep the protections of your local consumer law and can bring a claim in your local courts.
